Day 1: Drive by jeep from the Arava border crossing (near Eilat) to Aquaba. Stop for ethnic breakfast. Drive east through Wadi Yatem and Wadi Rum.
Explore the desert's beauty…Overnight at unique Camp Ali.
Day 2: Drive towards Petra through the sand dunes of Wadi Haraze. Continue through magnificent scenery - mountains, valleys, and canyons. Travel through Wadi Sik, the entrance to Petra. A day of sightseeing, including the view from atop Jabel Madbaha (Sacrifice Mountain) Buffet lunch in a Petra restaurant. Evening horse back ride through the narrow passages out of the city.
Overnight at the five star luxury Taybet Zaman Hotel, Wadi Moussa.
Day 3: Drive by jeep from height of 1500 meters down to the Arava Valley, passing through mountains of sandstone, limestone and granite. Travel through Wadi Zered, Wadi Hisa for a fresh water swim, hike and picnic lunch. Overnight at Hotel El Mujib (3 star), in Karak City.
Day 4: Venture north to the village of Tira and to Wadi Ibn Hamad, the most unique canyon in Jordan. Hike through the hot and cold water springs – a green oasis in the middle of the desert. Enjoy a picnic lunch in an olive orchard. We begin the afternoon at an open Turkish Hamam. Then, drive down the Arava Valley. Drive down the Arava. Late afternoon arrival at the border.
